The politician Putin fears most — Zelenskyy

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin fears only one politician in the world. It is the newly elected US President Donald Trump.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the X social media platform on Tuesday, December 10.

Putin is afraid of Trump

Zelenskyy is convinced that the United States is the country that can achieve results in the issue of peace.

"We know that America has the capacity to accomplish remarkable things—things that others have not been able to achieve. To succeed in ending this war, we need unity—the unity of America, Europe, and everyone in the world who values security—as well as strong positions and guarantees for peace,"  the statement reads.

The President emphasized that only firm determination can end this war justly.

"I told President Trump that Putin fears only him and, perhaps, China. And that’s the truth—only decisiveness can bring this war to a just end and ensure lasting peace. Action is needed now to restore the proper international order," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

Earlier, US President-elect Donald Trump said that the Ukrainian side was ready for a ceasefire. He is currently "formulating the concept of ending the war".
