Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valerii Zaluzhnyi said that Kyiv and London are negotiating on educating students who will work in the civil service. This is about 5-7 thousand citizens every year.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi said this at the annual general meeting of the European Business Association, as "Interfax-Ukraine" reports.

Negotiations between Britain and Ukraine

Zaluzhnyi believes that this is necessary for changing the generation of officials in Ukraine in 20 years, as well as the attitude towards the implementation of laws and doing business.

"We have almost managed to assure the British establishment that the most, let's say, guaranteed investment, guaranteed preservation of their investments is our education, this is the education of our future ministers, prime ministers, governors, even the future president," he said.

The ambassador believes that this project will have quite good prospects.

Zaluzhnyi also confirmed that there is still strong support for Ukraine among all political forces in the UK. He reported that the British Parliament is considering the issue of lifting some legislative restrictions on direct investment in arms production in Ukraine.

As a reminder, Zaluzhnyi stated that a pivotal moment has come for Ukraine. According to him, victory in the war depends on the support of partners in the defense sector and on a plan for post-war reconstruction.

In addition, on October 29, Zaluzhnyi held a meeting with members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group, where strategic partnership was discussed.
