Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed the development of Ukrainian ballistic missiles. According to Shmyhal, Ukraine is very close to have them.

He made this statement in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.

Ukraine will have its own ballistic missiles

Shmyhal noted that Ukraine is working on creating ballistic missiles in order to strike deep into Russian territory.

"The president of Ukraine has already announced that Ukraine will have its own ballistic missiles. We are very close to achieving this," he said.

The head of the Ministry of Defense clarified that this is all the information he can publicly disclose.
