US President Donald Trump called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to immediately end the war in Ukraine. Otherwise, Russia's economy will collapse.

Donald Trump wrote about this on Truth Social on Wednesday, January 22.

Trump wants to force Putin to end the war

The new leader of the United States of America said that Vladimir Putin must immediately end the war in Ukraine. Trump added that if he does not, the United States will impose new tough sanctions that will cause Russia's economy to collapse.

"I am going to do Russia, whose economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT'S ONLY GOUNG TO GET WORSE. If we don't make a "deal", and soon, I have no other choice but to put high level of Taxes, Tarrifs,  and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia,"  Trump wrote.

He also added that he did not want to hurt Russia, since they helped him win World War II. In addition, Trump noted that he has always loved the Russian people and has a good relationship with Putin.

As a reminder, MP Serhii Nahorniak explained that Russia's economy has not collapsed because it is not that weak. He noted that this is possible if tougher sanctions are imposed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planning to meet with Donald Trump. Work is currently underway to organize the talks.
