Parliament appointed new Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Parliament has appointed Oleksiy Chernyshov to the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, who is the Chairman of the Board of the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine". 237 MPs voted for this decision.

This was announced by the MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Tuesday, December 3.

Ukraine has a new Deputy Prime Minister

The Ukrainian Parliament voted for a new Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, which is Oleksiy Chernyshov, Minister of National Unity of Ukraine. 237 MPs voted for this decision.

On the eve of the Ukrainian Parliament Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations recommends that the Parliament should appoint Oleksiy Chernyshov to the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of National Unity of Ukraine.

Chernyshov addressed a speech to the deputies. After this, he answered their questions regarding the creation of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine.

What is known about Chernyshov

On March 4, 2020, Oleksiy Chernyshov was appointed Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. However, on November 3, 2022, the Ukrainian Parliament dismissed Chernyshov from this position.

From November 3 to 4, 2022, Chernyshov held the position of Chairman of the Board of the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine".

Previously, we wrote that MP from the "European Solidarity" Oleksiy Honcharenko offered to dismiss Rustem Umerov from the position of Minister of Defense. He registered the relevant resolution in the Ukrainian Parliament.

As a reminder, the Central Election Commission recognized Ivan Prymachenko as an elected MP of Ukraine. He was appointed to replace Oleh Makarov, who died on October 29.
