South Koreans are against direct arms supplies to Ukraine. Seoul emphasized that it is ready to consider this possibility depending on the future steps of Russia and North Korea.

South Korea is not ready to supply weapons to Ukraine
Polls show that South Koreans continue to oppose direct arms supplies to Ukraine, despite new international requests from Kyiv and allied capitals.
"No to the South Korean government's plans to supply weapons to Ukraine," reads a sign held by a small group of protesters outside the office of South Korean President Yun Seok-yol in Seoul.
According to an October poll by Gallup Korea, most South Koreans consider the growing military ties between Pyongyang and Moscow a threat, but 82% of them oppose providing military aid to Ukraine.
It is known that Ukraine wanted to send Seoul a detailed request for weapons, including artillery and air defense systems.
As we wrote earlier, MP Andriy Nikolayenko believes that South Korea's internal problems may affect the decision to transfer weapons to Ukraine.
Also, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken emphasized the unwavering support of Ukraine by the G7 countries and their partners in 2025.
