Zelenskyy has not signed the bill on tax increase — why
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not signed the law on tax increases for a month. Among the reasons, in particular, is criticism from business and the public.

Tax increase in Ukraine
As is known, the new bill is about tax increases, including a new amount of military levy. The law, adopted on October 10, has been waiting for the President's signature for a month — on October 15, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, submitted it to the Head of State. However, the publication's interlocutors noted that Zelenskyy has not yet decided whether to sign this document or not.
Among the reasons for the delay are criticism from business and the public, as well as concerns about possible corruption risks due to the increase in the tax burden.
It should be recalled that the Parliament recently answered whether there will be a tax increase this year. Some MPs believe that this is impossible.
At the same time, the MPs are calling on the Ukrainian Parliament to retain 64% of taxes in community budgets. They have signed a corresponding appeal to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba.
