In France, a court convicted a man who organized the mass rape of his wife. He will spend 20 years imprisoned.

This was reported by the Associated Press.

What is known about the case

It is known that for many years, husband Dominic Pelico gave his wife Giselle tranquilizers and invited strangers to rape her while she was unconscious.

The court found the 72-year-old man guilty of aggravated rape and all other charges against him. He will spend 20 years behind bars.

Dominic Peliko himself pleaded guilty. As you know, the case involves a total of 51 people: men of different ages and different professions. They came to the man's house for ten years and raped his sleeping wife. While they were doing this, Dominique Pelico filmed everything on camera. He had been married to Giselle, now 72, for fifty years. The court also sentenced the other defendants to three to 15 years in prison.

Law enforcement managed to find the videos in 2020. This happened after Pelico was detained in a supermarket because he was secretly filming women under their skirts. His equipment was confiscated, and 20,000 videos and photos of his wife being raped were found.

What Giselle Pelico says

Media reports say that Giselle herself learned about her husband's schemes only in 2020. The police then summoned the woman and warned her that they were going to show her the horrific footage from her husband's computer.

At first, she did not "recognize the woman in the video", and when the police told her it was her, the woman said that the police "saved her life".

During the trial, she described how she had suffered from unexplained memory lapses and gynecological problems for many years before she learned how her husband had been abusing her. She believed that these signs could indicate cancer.

She also wanted the situation to be publicized and for the media to use her full name to "protect the state from violence".

As a reminder, MMA fighter Conor McGregor was recently found guilty of rape in 2018.

It also recently became known about scandalous parties of rapper P. Diddy. He blackmails victims who have filed lawsuits, even from prison.
