Massive wave of "bomb threats" across Ukraine — which institutions are in danger
A number of regions in Ukraine have reported massive "mining" of government agencies and educational institutions. Currently, such reports have been received in Kyiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and other cities.
This was reported by local media, organizations and police.
Buildings and institutions were massively "mined" in Ukraine
On Monday, October 14, information about the "mining" of educational institutions, shopping centers, ministries and administrations all over Ukraine has spread on the Internet.
Currently, the building of the Kyiv Court of Appeal in Kyiv is reported to be mined.
"The Kyiv Court of Appeal is forced to temporarily suspend its work so that law enforcement agencies can take the necessary actions. Employees and visitors are currently being evacuated," the court's press service said.
Higher and secondary educational institutions in Kyiv and Lviv have been reported to be "mined".
"In the capital's 217th school, the information about the "mining" of this educational institution is being checked," Ukrinform reports the police's statement.
Also in the capital, there were reports of a bomb threat at the Ministry of Culture and the Tax Service.
At the same time, Suspilne, citing Sumy regional police, writes that after 12:00 p.m. in Sumy, ten different state institutions received messages that their buildings are mined.
"Among the buildings that are likely to be mined: Zarichnyi Court, the Department of Education and Science of Sumy City Council, a service center on Bilopilskyi Shliakh Street and the Treasury building," the statement said.
Officials in Rivne received an anonymous bomb threat to the Rivne Regional State Administration and Regional Council. Employees are currently being evacuated. Special services are inspecting the premises.
As a reminder, Ukrainian border guards have observed a decrease in the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups at the border. However, the occupiers do not stop mining the border.
Previously in Odesa, a man called 102 at night and reported a bomb in the building of one of the city's district courts. However, the "miner" made a mistake and was promptly detained.
