Lithuania transfers demining equipment to Ukraine — photo report

On Monday, November 4, Lithuania transferred the first batch of aid as a part of Demining Coalition help. Ukraine received 230 pickup trucks and 240 metal detectors.

Military aid from Lithuania

The official ceremony of transferring equipment took place on November 4 in Kyiv with the participation of Lithuanian Minister of Defense Laurynas Kasčiūnas.

The Demining Coalition, created at the initiative of Lithuania, unites 21 countries that work together to strengthen the Ukrainian military potential and provide units with modern demining equipment according to international standards.

The Lithuanian Minister of Defense claimed that this will not be the end of the assistance to Ukraine, because this is just the beginning.

Ukrainian demining units have welcomed new equipment, namely 230 pickup trucks and 240 mine detectors, which are intended to speed up work and increase the efficiency of demining, in particular, in the liberated territories.

As a reminder, South Korea reported on the possible increase in support for Ukraine. This statement was made amidst the deployment of North Korean troops in Russia.

Previously, Australia has transferred JDAM-ER high-precision air bombs to Ukraine, which were previously used for the Royal Air Force.
