American interviewer Lex Fridman has announced that he has recorded a more than 3-hour podcast with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The interview is available on X and all platforms. In the video, Lex Fridman and Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke in a mix of 3 languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian. It's fully dubbed in each of these 3 languages.

At the beginning, Zelenskyy noted that the war was in progress before the year 2022, and that the invasion of February 24, 2022 was a full-scale invasion.

"After the occupation of Donbas and Crimea (in 2014 — ed.), Ukraine sent letters to all security guarantors — America, Britain, Russia, France, China. According to the memorandum, consultations were required when our territorial integrity was violated. Did anyone respond? Did anyone come? Did anyone hold consultations? No," Zelenskyy said.

Asked whether there will come a day when Ukrainians can forgive the Russian people and resume friendly relations, Zelenskyy said that history has already answered this question.

"After every terrible war, one generation, one country realizes that it was the aggressor. And it understands that this cannot be forgiven...Today, there were 73 missile strikes against us. People died. Over 100 drones were launched today alone. This is a daily reality," Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.

Previously, the Institute for the Study of War summarized Russia's achievements and losses in 2024.

Earlier, we wrote that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to end the war by May 9, 2025, indeed any scenario will be presented as a "victory" for his people.

Also, in December, it was reported that a Russian plane was spotted in the US, presumably on a secret mission. This aircraft is used by the Kremlin for transporting its official representatives.
