A poll on trust in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was conducted in Ukraine. Since May, the figures have hardly changed.

This was reported by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology on Monday, October 14.

Trust in Zelenskyy

Sociologists note that after the 2019 presidential and parliamentary elections, the level of trust in Zelenskyy among Ukrainians reached 80%. However, by February 2022, the level of trust gradually decreased to 37%, and on the eve of the invasion, there were already more people who did not trust him.

But after the invasion, the trust level increased to 90%. By the end of December 2023, the level of trust decreased to 77%, by February 2024 – to 64%, by May 2024 – to 59%. Then between May and September 2024, the indicators have practically not changed.

Anton Hrushetsky, Deputy Director of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, says that there is considerable trust in Zelenskyy in Ukraine, especially given the difficulties of wartime, an uncertain future, and possible individual failures in the activities of the government team.

"At the same time, the situation is very dynamic, and a significant proportion of the population is already swinging from trust to distrust depending on current events and decisions of the president and his team," he said.

Previously, Novyny.LIVE asked Lviv residents whether they support the idea of holding presidential elections in Ukraine next year.

Also, a poll was conducted in Ukraine in which 23% of respondents expressed their willingness to join the Defense Forces under certain conditions.
