Jonson suggests the outcome for Ukraine if Trump wins the election
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that if US presidential candidate Donald Trump wins the election in November, he will not allow Ukraine to be defeated. According to him, the Republican understands what consequences this could lead to.
Boris Johnson said in an interview with The Telegraph.
What will happen to Ukraine if Trump wins the election
Johnson believes that Ukraine should not fear the potential presidency of Trump, as his absolute unpredictability is his main trait that helps in political matters. It would help convince Putin not to take the risk of waging war against a sovereign country.
"It is crucial that we understand Ukraine’s fight is existential for freedom and democracy in Europe, and if Ukraine loses, it will be an absolute catastrophe. Trump understands this," emphasized the former prime minister.
According to him, Trump would not want to go down in history as the person who started his second presidential term by making the Soviet Union great again, instead of making America great again.
Let us recall that after meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in New York, Donald Trump stated that if he loses the election, Russia's war against Ukraine will escalate into World War III. He believes his rival, Kamala Harris, will not be able to achieve peace.
In addition, Trump has previously said that the United States should get out of the war in Ukraine because it is getting bogged down in the conflict.
