Zelenskyy met with Pistorius — what they talked about
On Tuesday, January 14, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Minister of Defence of Germany Boris Pistorius. He arrived in Kyiv today on an unannounced visit.
It was reported by the press service of Zelenskyy on Telegram.

Thus, Zelenskyy and Pistorius discussed key priorities: building a comprehensive Air Defence Shield, investing in the Ukrainian Defence Industry, strengthening Ukraine’s Defence Capabilities, as well as training and supporting Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield.
"I am grateful to Germany for its unwavering support, which has not only strengthened Ukraine’s defence but also played a decisive role in strengthening the security of the whole of Europe," the President noted.
He noted that Germany has made one of the largest contributions to the protection of Ukrainian skies, providing almost 16% of all assistance.
The representatives of the countries also spoke about coordination with partners to achieve a just peace and summed up the results of yesterday’s meeting of the Group of Five: the Defence Ministers of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Poland.
Earlier it became known that Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit to discuss the situation at the front in Ukraine.
Yesterday, Pistorius handed over the first RCH 155 wheeled howitzer to Ukraine out of 54 promised units. It was solemnly received by Ambassador Oleksii Makeev.
