Zelensky arrives in Hungary — why

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Hungary to participate in the summit of the European Political Community. This is his first visit to the country since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Zelenskyy's visit to Hungary

As you know, Zelenskyy arrived in Budapest to take part in the summit of the European Political Community. This is his first visit to this country since the start of a full-scale war in our country.

The event was also attended by leaders of states and governments, heads of major international organizations, except for the dictators of Russia and Belarus.

Hungarian journalists reported at noon on Thursday that, in addition to Zelenskyy, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo had already arrived at the venue.

At the same time, during his evening address on Wednesday, November 6, the Ukrainian president said that during this trip he would have a number of meetings and agreements with European leaders.

As a reminder, on November 6, Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Donald Trump, who is likely to win the US presidential race. The Ukrainian president called the conversation "excellent".

In addition, on November 4, the head of state met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. They discussed military support for Ukraine.
