Zelenskyy reacted to Fico’s offer

Today, on January 13, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico offered to meet with Zelenskyy. He wants to discuss the suspension of Russian gas transit, including to his country.

"Your decision to stop the transit of gas through Ukraine to Slovakia and other consumers is very damaging to Ukraine, Slovakia, and, in particular, the EU. It provokes a variety of reactions, which is not conducive to either bilateral or multilateral relations," Fico claimed.

The President of Ukraine responded to the initiative of the Slovak leader.

"Ok. Come to Kyiv on Friday," the Head of State wrote in a laconic tweet.

Slovak Prime Minister Fico had earlier criticized Zelenskyy after the suspension of Russian gas transit. The Slovak prime minister called the Head of our State a "beggar".

In response, Zelenskyy recalled that Ukraine had offered its assistance to the people of Slovakia during the period of adaptation, but Fico had rejected it himself.
