On Friday, November 22, the Presidential Office is working as usual in compliance with all security measures. Earlier it was reported that Russia is preparing a strike on the government quarter in Kyiv.

This was reported by Novyny.LIVE, citing a source in the Office of the President.

How the Office of the President is working  today

"The Office of the President is operating as usual in compliance with security measures. In case of an air raid, employees will go to the shelter," the statement said.

At the same time, Suspilne reported earlier that the number of employees in the Presidential Office and other government agencies has been minimized due to a possible attack.

What preceded it

As a reminder, on November 21, MP Taras Batenko said that the occupiers could launch a missile attack on the Verkhovna Rada. This is due to the fact that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin may maximize the stakes in the war against Ukraine.

On November 22, MP Fediienko confirmed that the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, which was scheduled for today, was canceled due to security issues.

It is also reported that, in addition to the Verkhovna Rada, the committee secretariats and parliamentary services are not operating today. Staffing in the Cabinet of Ministers, the Office of the President, and other state institutions has been minimized.

According to Suspilne, local residents and companies with offices in the government quarter were warned in advance about the security threat.
