The first sentence for the arson of military vehicles was handed down in Ukraine

The Oleksandria City and District Court of the Kirovohrad Region reached a decision in the case of setting fire to military vehicles. The defendant was a 28-year-old resident of Olexandria, who committed the crime on the request of the Russian aggressors.

This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, October 9.

Case details

It is known that the woman set fire to the service pickup truck of a National Guard employee at the behest of the Russian special services, while recording the process on video to confirm the completion of the task.

The perpetrator was detained at the scene of the crime by the Security Service of Ukraine and National Police officers immediately after the arson.

Court decision

The court, taking into account the evidence gathered by the investigators, found her guilty of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. The woman was sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The investigation was conducted by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office. This incident emphasizes the importance of combating sabotage and protecting Ukraine's national security amidst military aggression.

It should be reminded that in the Poltava region, the culprit of the road accident was sentenced. The driver's mother died as a result of this accident. For what he did, the man was sentenced to three years in prison.
