An officer of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate, 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov, returned from the war in Ukraine about a week ago. An unknown person shot the car in which Klenkov was at close range, putting at least eight bullets into him.
The shooter managed to escape, Russian media reports.
The Russian Telegram channel says that Klenkov was the deputy commander of a military unit. He served in one of the special forces units. It is about the training center of Special Operations Forces.
