On Wednesday, December 11, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz in Berlin. The agenda includes reconstruction and reform.

This was reported by a correspondent of Novyny.LIVE Halyna Ostapovets, who works at the 7th German-Ukrainian Business Forum.

What topics will be discussed

At the 7th German-Ukrainian Business Forum, Shmyhal and Scholz will discuss a number of important topics.

Among them are cooperation in the defense sector, support for the energy sector, rebuilding the country after the war, reforms and attracting foreign investment.

The forum will also become a platform for considering new directions of economic partnership between the two countries.

In addition, the Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin will speak at the forum and the Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko will join online.

As a reminder, on December 2, Scholz made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to confirm support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. The Chancellor of Germany also spoke about the aid allocated to Ukraine.
