Russian troops shelled Kherson region — one victim

Russian troops attacked the Kherson region during the last twenty-four hours. One person died in the region as a result of the shelling, nine people were injured. The police are recording the consequences of the strikes.

Attack on the Kherson region

The Russian army continues to shell the de-occupied right bank of Kherson region.

According to police, over the past day, the following settlements were affected by enemy attacks: Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Tomyna Balka, Sofiivka, Nadezhdivka, Molodizhne, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Novooleksandrivka, Novokairy and Krupytsia.

In total, 18 objects were damaged in the region: 11 of them were private houses, an educational institution, five cars and a bus.

Consequences of the shelling

It is reported that the Russian army attacked a civilian car park near Nadezhdivka, using an FPV drone, as a result of which four men received injuries and wounds.

In addition, as a result of the enemy drone attack on Beryslav, a 42-year-old woman was injured, who was near a store at the time of the hit.

"The victim was diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wounds of the face. And as a result of the enemy shelling of the city at night, a 38-year-old man died, his body was found at the intersection of streets," law enforcement officials claimed.

As a result of the drone attack on Antonivka, a 77-year-old woman received an explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wounds of her face. Later, the enemy attacked the city with FPV drones, damaging two cars and injuring two men.

According to police data, three houses each in Tomyna Balka and Sofiivka were also damaged during the Russian attacks, as well as two houses and two cars in Novokairy and Krupytsy. In Dudchany, an FPV drone damaged a private house.

The regional center also came under enemy attacks — explosions were heard in all areas of the city. In total, a 33-year-old man was injured in Kherson, an educational institution, a shuttle bus and an apartment building were damaged.

As a reminder, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with strike drones and missiles on the night of November 1. Air defense systems were operating in ten regions.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the invincibility of rescuers, medics and volunteers who save lives every day after shelling.
