Russia has confirmed involvement of DPRK to Western countries

Russia has officially confirmed to Western countries that North Korea is involved in the war against Ukraine. This was done at the reconnaissance level.

This was claimed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS.

Participation of North Korea in the war

According to Zelenskyy, Moscow has confirmed that North Korean military personnel will take part in the fighting.

"The Russian Federation, I know, confirmed at the reconnaissance level that North Korea is involved. They confirmed it. Officially confirmed at their level to major countries. I don't want to say who specifically they talked to, but we have accurate information. Russia discussed this issue with Western countries and confirmed that the North Korean military will fight against Ukraine," the President said.

Zelenskyy added that Russia may transfer ballistic missiles, Shahed drones and air defense systems to North Korea for its participation in the war against Ukraine.

The President is confident that the Russian Federation also supports the DPRK financially by supplying shells and fighters.

Previously, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed about the lack of an appropriate international reaction to the presence of the DPRK military on the territory of Russia. According to him, about 12 thousand North Korean soldiers are ready to fight on the side of Russia. It is also already known about the DPRK troops on the front line in Ukraine.
