Russian shelling has significantly intensified in Kherson, especially in coastal areas. Over the past three months, the number of attacks has increased to 2,700 per month.

This was reported by the spokesman for the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, in a comment to the correspondent of Novyny.LIVE, Galyna Ostapovets, on Monday, November 11.

Hostile attacks on Kherson — what is the situation in the city

Tolokonnikov claimed that over the past three months, the security situation in Kherson has deteriorated. According to him, Russian troops have intensified drone attacks on the coastal areas of the city and settlements on the Right Bank.

"Since the beginning of July, they have been intensifying every month. There have already been 2,700 attacks per month. These are targeted strikes on civilians. In September, there were more than 150 injured people, in October it decreased slightly," the spokesman for the Kherson RMA said.

He added that drones not only drop explosives on civilian objects, but also remotely mine the territory using butterfly mines.

We will remind you that two years ago, on November 11, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Kherson, which was captured by Russian troops. The city was occupied for eight months.

Previously, we wrote that the Russians struck the dam of the Kurakhove reservoir — there is a threat to residents in two regions.
