Trump's second term will be fundamentally different — CNN
The Republican Party is fully owned by the new US President Donald Trump. Thus, Trump has surrounded himself with advisers and officials who fully share and support his political views without keeping the president under control.
This was reported by CNN on Wednesday, November 6.
What will Trump's second term look like?
The publication notes that, unlike in 2016, the Republican Party is now fully owned by Trump, and the figures who opposed him have been expelled forever.
"Trump will enter the Oval Office with both the experience of having done this job before and a lot of resentment toward a system that he believes has failed him", the statement reads.
It is noted that figures who had previously acted as stabilizing forces, including a number of chiefs of staff, defense ministers, national security and intelligence advisers, and the attorney general, have left Trump.
They have been replaced by a cohort of advisers and officials who share the views of the new US president and intend to follow through on the extreme promises Trump made as a candidate, without keeping him in check or worrying about the regulations and laws that former aides sought to uphold.
As a reminder, Trump announced his victory in the US election. He emphasized that he is now the 45th and 47th president.
It has also become known that Donald Trump is preparing a victory rally after the election in the United States.
Ukrainian MP Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze has said that Donald Trump's return to the US presidency could lead to a tougher policy against Russia.
