On Tuesday, October 29, the leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported on a drone attack on the "Russian University of Special Forces named after Vladimir Putin" in the city of Gudermes. The strike was likely launched from the territory of Dagestan or Ingushetia.

This was reported by sources of the Suspilne in Ukrainian special services.

According to Kadyrov, as a result of the air strike, the roof of one of the empty buildings on the territory of the educational institution caught fire.

Kadyrov said that law enforcement officers are already investigating the incident and are trying to identify those involved in the attack, calling the attack a "crime". He also assured that the university continues to operate as usual.

Ukrainian special services confirmed the information about the strike and reported that the drones could have been launched from the territory of Dagestan or Ingushetia.

Previously, on Wednesday, October 16, a large fire broke out at the "Chkalovskyi" military airfield near Moscow. The flames engulfed an administrative building on the territory of the military facility.
