Ukrainians will be paid all salaries and pensions in accordance with the law. The country has the money for this.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, November 19.

Payments of salaries and pensions to Ukrainians

The President noted that Ukraine was able to ensure financial payments to citizens in 2024. Ukrainians should expect the same in 2025.

"Although now, during the war, for objective reasons, we do not provide ourselves with the necessary funding by one hundred percent, we were able to guarantee full financial support for this and next year," the President said.

He emphasized that there are no risks to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine due to funding. This applies to the current and next year.

"Regardless of political turbulence anywhere in the world. All salaries and pensions in Ukraine will be paid in accordance with the law. We have the money for this," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

As a reminder, MP Nina Yuzhanina said that social payments and indexation will continue as long as the partners cover all expenses. According to her, the termination of the aid could be a serious challenge for Ukraine's state budget.

MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak criticized the draft budget submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for voting. He noted that he would not support it because of absurd ideas, such as "cashback" and so on.
