"I have held a meeting of the State Defense Committee. I have heard a report on further strengthening of air defense. A decision has been made to increase the number of mobile fire groups in regions that are priority targets for Russian terror," Zelenskyy reported.

The Head of State added that the implementation of previous decisions of the State Defense Committee on improved training and equipping mobile fire groups is ongoing.

"There was a report on a comprehensive program against Russian guided aerial bombs. There are prospective technological solutions," Zelenskyy said.

The President added that a report was also heard on the current status of the Ukrainian missile program, in particular the development of its own guided aerial bombs. There were also reports on three-year contracts for manufacturers of drones and other types of weapons.

Before this meeting, the President heard a large detailed report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"There is a decision of the Commander-in-Chief to significantly strengthen the most difficult areas — Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk," the President noted.

In the Kursk region of Russia, according to the President, Ukrainian fighters continue to restrain an enemy group of almost 50,000.

Previously, we reported that Ukraine needs increased military assistance to protect against Russian terror. An increasing number of civilian objects are becoming targets of the occupiers.

It should be reminded that Ukraine is working on obtaining new defense packages from international partners, in particular from France, the USA, Canada and Lithuania.
