Explosions rang in Sumy region at night, resulting in the deaths of three people

Today, on October 22, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down 25 enemy Shaheds in Sumy region. The enemy struck at critical infrastructure and residential buildings.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Tuesday, October 22.

Drone attack in Sumy region

"The Russians continue to shell Sumy. This morning, the enemy struck a residential apartment building and critical infrastructure facilities," the Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported.

As a result of the overnight drone strike on residential houses in the private sector of the regional center, three people, including one child, were killed. Other consequences of the enemy attack on the region are currently being clarified.

"Air defense battles are ongoing. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and do not ignore air raid warnings," the RMA urged.

Earlier, we reported that following the night attack on Sumy on Tuesday, October 22, there were strikes on residential buildings. A special task force will begin working in the morning to address the aftermath of the shelling.

As a reminder, during the air raid on the night of October 22 in Sumy, an explosion was heard. The city was attacked by strike drones.
