A few days ago, a theatrical performance of the Vertep was held in Charlotte, North Carolina, organized by the charitable cultural organization Toloka USA and the band SPIVOCHI. According to Olena Sturza and Jeff Buchko, this is the second year in a row that the Ukrainian community in the United States has come together to recreate the traditional Christmas performance.

As you know, all the funds raised from the performance will be used to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the children's charity fund "Happy Sunshine" in Zaporizhzhia.

"This initiative has become a great example of the unity of the Ukrainian diaspora in America and a confirmation that culture and traditions can unite people even thousands of kilometers away from their homeland. The success of the play is so great that a tour to other U.S. cities is already planned," Ukrainians said.

On December 24, a Christmas didukh was installed in the center of Lviv. The traditional event was accompanied by a procession and caroling.

In addition, Mayor Andrii Sadovyi showed how Christmas was celebrated in Lviv during the war.
