Donald Trump won the presidential election in the United States of America and will be inaugurated on January 20, 2025. According to European Solidarity MP Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, no radical actions should be expected from President Joe Biden during the transition period, as of Wednesday, November 6.

The impact of the US elections on Ukraine

According to the MP, Ukraine miscalculated the time between the US elections and the inauguration, which created the illusion that Biden had greater opportunities to support us.

"Two teams will begin working as soon as the results are announced, with Trump’s transition team already set to coordinate with parts of the Biden administration," Klympush-Tsyntsadze said.

She explained that this effectively limits the current president's ability to make any radical decisions. Meanwhile, a significant move by the Biden administration was approving an $8 billion aid package.

"It is critically important that these funds are fully transformed into real assistance to Ukraine during Biden's presidency. But before Trump's inauguration on January 20, it is unlikely that we will see breakthrough votes in the Senate and Congress," the MP added.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister responded to Trump's victory in the US presidential election.

And CNN wrote that Trump's new presidential term will be radically different from the previous one.
