UN Secretary General is going to meet Putin at BRICS summit — MFA responds

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that UN Secretary General António Guterres "damages the reputation of the United Nations." The reason is that Secretary General Guterres accepted the invitation of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to the BRICS meeting in Kazan.

The message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that António Guterres rejected Ukraine's invitation to come to the Peace Summit, but responded positively to the invitation of the Russian dictator to the BRICS summit.

The BRICS summit in Kazan is scheduled for October 22-24. As The Telegraph previously reported, Putin is going to meet with the leaders of more than two dozen countries, including China, India, and the UN Secretary General.

As the AP reported, Chinese leader Xi Jinping plans to meet with Vladimir Putin in October and take part in the BRICS summit in Kazan.
