Attack on a Russian military airfield

Last night, drones attacked the Khanska military airfield near the village of Khanska. This has been widely reported by local residents, but the authorities have not yet commented on this information.

According to open data, this airfield is home to the 272nd Training Aviation Polotsk Aviation Base of the Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov, a 2nd class aviation base of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after Anatolii Serov, Hero of the Soviet Union.

Soon after, public media reported that a massive fire had been spotted near the Khanskа military airfield in Adygea after the night attack. This was confirmed by NASA's fire monitoring system.

In addition, an audio of an unidentified person was posted online, assumed to be a local resident.

"Drones attacked a military airfield, there is a real war going on in Rodnikovka at the airfield," the audio says.

It should be noted that Rodnikovo is a village near Khanskа settlement, which is literally next to the military airfield.

As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine successfully attacked a Russian oil depot in the Voronezh region with drones on October 4. There were 20 tanks with fuel and lubricants on the territory of the refinery.

Previously, a satellite image of the aftermath of the fire at the Proletarsk oil depot, which burned for 16 days following a drone attack, was recently published online.
